Don't Touch The Sleeping Pills; They Mess With My Head

This was another art piece I had to do with one sentence for inspiration, in one week to produce an image. This one was inspired by the lyric 'don't touch the sleeping pills, they mess with my head', which is from the song 'Ship To Wreck' by Florence & The Machine. She has been a huge inspiration for my work and so of course I had to do her for this practice!
This concept art piece was inspired by Florence's words and songs but also by 'Trainspotting' and Salvador Dali.

I re-did this piece because I hated the original version, I feel like this one is so much better and really fits the image I had inside my head. I suppose I just needed a step back and rethink how I the image should look. I will also have the original drawing added to the gallery so you can compare and see the difference within the time limit of a week and having a few weeks to reflect and develop.
